2025 AiMCO Awards Finalists

The Great Unwaste, powered by End Food Waste Australia, has been recognised on the national stage as a finalist in the Influence for Good category at the 2025 AiMCO Awards. The nomination highlights the growing role of grassroots storytelling in driving meaningful behaviour change across Australia.

Spotlight on the Opportunity

Each year, the Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) celebrates Australia’s most impactful influencer marketing campaigns, with the 2025 awards attracting a record 255 entries. The Great Unwaste campaign, delivered in partnership with Vamp and Hopeful Monsters, will join three others vying for the Influence for Good Award.

Turning Awareness into Action

The campaign centred on one simple, relatable question – how much pasta is enough? – to inspire Australians to waste less food, one meal at a time.

Creators were encouraged to measure the dry pasta they would cook for one person, weigh it on a scale, and compare it to the recommended 100g serving. They then shared whether they were over, under, or right on – and reflected on how this could affect potential food waste.

By turning everyday cooking into a playful challenge, The Great Unwaste makes reducing household food waste tangible and achievable. Why not give it a go now by following our tips for cooking just the right amount.

What’s Next

Winners will be announced at the AiMCO Awards Ceremony, held alongside the inaugural AiMCO Summit in February 2026.
